What to Expect in Your Contractor’s Exam!
In Florida there is a two-day, three part state exam to become a State Certified Contractor. The first day exam WHICH MUST BE TAKEN BY ALL CONSTRUCTION TRADES, concentrates on "Administration" which includes Business, Finance, Construction Law and Accounting. The second day WHICH IS TRADE SPECIFIC AND DEPENDS ON YOUR TYPE OF LICENSE covers building codes, plan reading and mathmatic take off problems along with sections on Contract Administration and Project Management. OUR SECOND DAY, 2ND AND 3RD PART PARCTICE EXAMS ARE DESIGNED FOR GC, BC & RC CONTRACTORS ONLY.
